Universal love is a flexible container of contemporary art activities, ethical, social and spiritual help and awareness, which operates through laboratory, exhibition and interactive-relational projects, promoting collaboration and shared development with spaces and associations, institutions, schools and foundations.
Universal Love, although mainly aimed at young people, can operate / develop with any target age, interests, people in research, social groups, disabilities and problems; its foundation is to trigger-structure, through the empathy of artistic expression, and group pragmatic action-sharing, reflection, openness to others, processes of help, global growth and gratification, developing relational networks capable of curbing / solving individual / social problems, and promoting new experiential communities of help and learning.
Project type:
- Workshop actions of art of aid and awareness, composed of various and flexible paths, and experiences, structured on the basis of the group / people participating.
- Shows and personal / collective performances of the work groups that will join the project
- Exhibitions, exhibitions and national / international events, also for fundraising and awareness raising.
- Combined projects of artist residences and global personal and collective development and growth paths.
- Universal Love, in its global development, promotes the construction of a community of permanent and international learning and help.
The values of help, openness, sharing and support for the most disadvantaged social realities are those that globally guide all our activities; despite the valorisation and respect of the differences and the freedom of every person, the founding value of Universal Love is the universal love of God that embraces everything, and our statute is profoundly Christian but promotes a community action and open to every creed, philosophy and existential reality.
Everything is developed and born from the artistic, study and teaching experiences, from the travels and contacts of the artist Paolo Apolloni, founder of the Celestetica Socio-cultural Association (2012), and also from the subsequent activities carried out in the Galleria Celeste space (2013) in Vicenza / Italy, where it was possible to develop and experiment creative, cooperative and flexible energies, innovative and transversal, among the various areas that can affect the global growth of the person.
The alternation in working progress of many people, experts in different fields of study and research, and collaborations with groups, artists and spaces, associations, schools, organizations and foundations, have given life to the project of Universal Love, always expanding more through international contacts and collaborations. In fact, at present, there is no defined or rigid group of people who promote Universal Love projects, if not the closest to the initial project of the Celestial Gallery, in particular Lorena Apolloni, artist and creative, and Massimiliano Vio, photographer and web design / graphic, but a continuous exchange both within the Celestetica association and outside of collaborations, curators, artists, volunteers, scholars and experts, and an in-progress exchange with national and international spaces / galleries / schools / communities / groups.
The spirit and strength that drive Universal Love are therefore linked to all those who, in synergy and empathy with us, want to spend, interact and experiment, share their skills, competences and resources, express their creative power and their love, above all of help and growth towards the other, sharing a common dream of openness and universal Beauty.
